Every day we “outsource” menial jobs from our brains to some type of computer. Cell phones memorize numbers for us, calculators do our math, spell check is always on the lookout for corrections to our spelling, and often grammar. While some have lamented this as a “cost” of the digital age, it frees us up to devote our attention to more important tasks.

Exo-Brain produces intuitive software that helps people work smarter, not harder:

  • WebMaestro is a smart FTP client for that tracks when a file was last changed versus when it was last uploaded. This frees you from having to remember which files need to be uploaded to the server.
  • Exif Harvester is a player in digital photo analytics; when you capture a photo, the camera records the shutter speed, aperture, and other information. This data is invaluable, but difficult to mine.
  • WebDom Viewer displays the hierarchal nature of markup languages such as html, xml, kml, and other sgml flavors.
  • Automatic Web Testing Software crawls a preset list of URLs and reports the status codes, response headers, and other information.
